Trillion Trees Australia
Trillion Trees Australia is a self funding and not for profit founded in 1979 (formerly known as Men of The Trees). Trillion Trees Australia have planted more than 15 million native trees and understory to improve biodiversity, combat salinity and soil erosion. Members, sponsors, donors, community and corporate volunteers have been part of this important work.
The Trillion Trees Australia Nursery is located at their headquarters in Hazelmere, Western Australia.
The nursery was established in 1987 and grows in excess of 200,000 seedlings each year – many of these are planted by local councils, friends of groups and small landholders as well as Trillion Trees Australia’s revegetation team. The nursery is staffed by a team of volunteers under the professional supervision of nursery managers, and is a hive of activity throughout the year. They provide a safe and inclusive environment for all volunteers, plus training and support opportunities.
The nursery is open to the public from 9:00am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday (excludes Public Holidays)
